- Basic genealogy books and videos for the beginning family researcher
- General Kansas History collection
- Internet for nonsubscription genealogy web sites
- Interlibrary loan service to access holdings of other libraries, including microforms from the State Historical Society
- Public access to the private library of the Cloud County Genealogical Society Library
- Public computers, printers, and copy machine
The Frank Carlson Library is also host to the Cloud County Genealogical Society Library.
- Comprehensive library of genealogy resources for Cloud County including transcriptions of the Catholic church records for St. Joseph, Aurora, and Clifton
- Indexes to the 1880 and 1895 census
- Complete index to the Cloud County Cemeteries, Early Death Indexes to 1911, and Burial Records for Concordia to September 1989
- Basic books from other Kansas counties and general library of genealogy books from other states
- Extensive collection of French-Canadian resources including records from Kansas, Illinois, and Canada sources
- Local family histories
Members of the society will do research for a fee plus costs. Fees are used to update and expand the library collection.
